EVALUATION STUDIES WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE NEW GENERATION UNIVERSITY DESIGN AND TRANSFORMATION PROJECT ENDED

Within the scope of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, the senior management of the rectorate convened under the chairmanship of Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı. At the meeting, the road map determined by the project and 87 work packages were discussed in detail.

Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Atilla Keskin, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Bayrakçeken Yurtçan, Prof. Dr. Huseyin Özer, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sözbilir, Prof. Dr. Turgut Göğebakan and Secretary General Dr. Sadık Erdoğan made presentations on the development processes of work packages according to the mission areas determined in 7 dimensions.

During the one-week meeting held in the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit (BAP), more than 1000 activities and development processes on the work packages were evaluated in depth and revisions were made in some work packages.

Rector Çomaklı in his evaluation stated that the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, which is one of the important breaking points in the history of Atatürk University, has been successfully carried out within the prescribed schedule depending on the determined policies and strategies.

Rector Çomaklı said that the implementation of the important work packages of the aforementioned project in a short time gave a significant impetus to the academic indicators of the university, adding that Atatürk University, which has made a name for itself in the national and international arena with the label of Research University, will continue this mission with determination in the new term, and will achieve new successes with the support of all university members.
