YÖK APPROVED ATATURK UNIVERSITY - PUTRA MALAYSIA UNIVERSITY JOINT DIPLOMA PROGRAMS
"Joint Doctoral Program Protocols Between Existing Programs" signed between Atatürk University and Putra Malaysia University in the field of Electrical Electronics, Industry, Food, Chemical Engineering and Biology were Examined at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting and approved by the Higher Education Council (YÖK).
Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr Ömer Çomaklı, who started a strategic partnership between the two universities with a visit to Putra Malaysia University in 2017, continued his initiatives in various fields.
After the visit of the agreement protocol for the opening of the joint diploma programs of Atatürk University and Putra Malaysia University, joint diploma programs prepared with approximately 2 years of intensive studies were signed during the visit of the President of the University of Putra Malaysia, Prof. Dr Datin Paduka Aini Ideris to Atatürk University in 2019. The protocol was approved by YÖK on 06.05.2020 and entered into force.
“We Have Cooperation With More Than 300 Universities In 60 Countries”
Rector Prof. Dr Ömer Çomaklı stated that the joint diploma programs launched between the two universities will provide significant academic and cultural achievements to the country with both universities. He said that Atatürk University and Putra Malaysia University are sister universities and that the brotherhood ties between the two universities continued with a stronger strength especially during Rector Prof. Dr Datin Paduka Aini Ideris.
Rector Çomaklı who stated that Atatürk University, which aims to be a respected “New Generation University” in line with internationalization strategies, has been cooperating with more than 300 universities in nearly 60 countries, and he underlined that it continues to work more effectively with similar prestigious universities in the world.
