I WISH YOU A HAPPY VICTORY DAY ON AUGUST 30
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, issued a message in honor of Victory Day on August 30. The following phrases were employed by Rector Hacımüftüoğlu in his message:
❝On the 102nd anniversary of our Great Victory, I remember all of our heroes who gave their lives for the independence of our country and the freedom of our nation with mercy, gratitude, and appreciation, particularly Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms. August 30 is a magnificent epic in which our nation's love of freedom and independence was achieved through the spirit of unity and solidarity.
Erzurum is one of the cities that contributed to the epic of our War of Independence. The Erzurum Congress was a pivotal moment in which the world was first informed of our nation's desire for independence, and the foundations of our unity and solidarity were established. Erzurum's resistance during the War of Independence served as a cornerstone and kindled the initial spark of independence. The August 30 Victory was the culmination of the struggle that commenced in Erzurum with the determination and resolve of our nation.
The entire world was informed of our nation's determination and resolve in the struggle for independence by this significant victory. Our most significant obligation in the pursuit of a bright future for our nation is to transmit this ethos and consciousness to the next generation. At Atatürk University, we are committed to keeping this ethos alive and fostering the development of our students as individuals who embody our national values.
I extend my genuine congratulations on the Victory Day of August 30 and extend my best wishes for a future that is filled with health, happiness, and peace to our beloved nation.
Wishing you a day of triumph!❞
