PRELIMINARY SEISMOLOGY REPORT FOR EARTHQUAKES

Ataturk University Earthquake Research Center, which examines the recent earthquakes, has prepared a preliminary seismology report in this direction.

After the earthquake that occurred yesterday in Karlıova district of Bingöl, another 5.6 magnitude earthquake occurred in the same center base in the region where aftershocks continued. Ataturk University Earthquake Research Center took immediate action after the earthquake that took place yesterday and completed its studies within the first 4 hours and prepared the preliminary seismology report.

The Earthquake Research Center, which has played an active role in the earthquake that occurred in Elazig in the past months, mobilizes all opportunities to raise awareness of the citizens before and to inform the society correctly after the disasters.

“We Think The Aftershocks Will Continue At Least 2 Weeks”
