VIRTUAL LABORATORY LESSONS AWARDED WITH CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION
Rector Çomaklı delivered Certificate of Appreciation to Prof. Dr. Gür
The first phase of the “YÖK Virtual Laboratory Project”, which enables the first-year applied laboratory lessons of Physics and Chemistry Departments to be conducted in a virtual environment, announced by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) at the opening ceremony of the 2020-2021 academic year, has been completed.
In this context, Atatürk University rector Prof. Dr. Ömer ÇOMAKLI handed Certificate of Appreciation to Prof. Dr. Emre GÜR, from Science Physics Department, given by YÖK for his contribution to and support for the realization of Physics-I and Physics-II laboratory courses in virtual environment.
"We Conduct Many Works That Will Be Appreciated"
Atatürk University Rector Çomaklı, who pointed out that general chemistry and general physics laboratory courses in various programs of universities' science and engineering faculties and vocational schools are carried out via virtual laboratory with the project developed by YÖK in cooperation with TÜBİTAK, said: “All of the Physics-I and Physics-II laboratory courses taught at our university within the scope of the Virtual Laboratory Project announced by YÖK at the academic opening this year during the epidemic period we live in were conducted in virtual environment. Because the process proceeds smoothly and is very efficient, it was given by YÖK to Prof. Dr. Emre Gür. We delivered the certificate of appreciation sent to Emre Gür. Striving to do the best in every field it takes place, adding that Atatürk univertsity will continue to undertake admirable works as it is today.
Rector Çomaklı stated that the projects and studies carried out by Atatürk University within the framework of the vision of New YÖK are carried out in accordance with the development goals of our country. He congratulated Prof. Dr. Gür for his work that could set an example and wished him continued success.
