WE WISH ALLAH'S MERCY ON OUR MARTYRS

The rector of  Ataturk University Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı published a message published a  message due to the attack aimed at the Turkish Armed Forces in the Idlib region  of Syria. In his message, the rector Çomaklı stated the followings:

“Turkey, in the ring  of fire where it has been for the recent years, has been extremely struggling  in national and regional area to protect the border of the country, preserve  the national solidarity and unity. Turkish Republic has taken measure against all  kinds of attacks targeting the integrity, stability, peace and brotherhood of our  country and responded to the attack fast and will continue to do so. Again for  this cause, 33 of our soldiers were martyred and 32 of our soldiers were  wounded in the nefarious attack made by regime elements against our soldiers  who  were in Idlib to maintain the national security of our country.

As the Turkish  Nation maintains its unity and solidarity, it is a well-known fact that those  who continue to contribute to disorder will lose. I strongly condemn the puppet  administration in Syria who is in the service of global powers and has been martyred  our soldiers with the instructions it took. I wish Allah’s mercy to our heroic  soldiers, who died in this treacherous attack that caused great sorrow in the  Atatürk University family and wounded our feelings; and I wish  condolences to their sorrowful families, Turkish Armed Forces and our nation,  and quick recovery to our wounded soldiers.

May the souls of our  heroic soldiers rest in peace…”

Prof. Dr. Ömer  ÇOMAKLI
  THE RECTOR
